What is IHOP?
The International House of Prayer is a missions organization located in Kansas City, Missouri. The heart of the IHOP missions base is the 24/7 prayer room. On September 19, 1999, a prayer meeting began which continues to this day, from dawn to dusk and through the watches of the night, prayer and worship continues twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. For 8 years, ceaseless praise and worship has ascended before God from Kansas City, in the spirit of the Tabernacle of David.

Intercessory Missionaries
Leah and I are Intercessory Missionaries. It is clear to us that we are called to the place of prayer and fasting as intercessors. God has set us on the wall of intercession to cry out for justice, and to cry out for His Kingdom to come to the earth as it is in heaven. Jesus is returning to this earth to establish His Kingdom and we are standing as ones who “will not rest” until this reality and His purpose is birthed on the earth. (Isa 62:6-7) We will not graduate or be promoted from the place if intercession. We believe that this is our lifelong calling. God wants partnership. He wants people who will voluntarily choose His ways and His desires. He doesn’t need anyone, He simply desires us because of His great love. Throughout history, God has brought forth His purposes on the earth through using weak men and women like us. (Hebrews 11) We are standing with Christ, our Great High Priest, who ever lives to intercede, until God finally has a resting place. “And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, ‘Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them as their God.’” Revelation 21:3-4
Family
Leah and I have been married for 1 year and 1/2. Leah went through the Onething Internship here at the House of Prayer in January of 2005. I had a little crush on her from day one but I had to keep it hidden until she graduated the six month program in July. It was the longest six months of my life! On the morning of her graduation I asked her out for coffee and the rest is history. We began dating soon after in August of 2005. We were engaged on February 23rd of 2006 in St. Louis. And we were married on August 19th of 2006 in her home town of Ludington, Michigan. We are expecting our first child in June of 2008!!
